Kansas Chapter of Government Management of Information Science (KS GMIS) is a group of professionals in the field of Information Technology who support Novell, MS Windows based, Linux and UNIX networks. The group has quarterly meetings, presentations by vendors, and other special events. The group is primarily comprised of Information Technology professionals in Kansas Local, County and State Governmental agencies/organizations. This includes all governmental agencies/organization within all 105 counties in the State of Kansas. Group membership is usually restricted to persons providing computing technical support in some capacity. Those desiring to join, who have not been invited by an existing member, should provide some basic information concerning their current support role when submitting the application to join.
