Douglas Bartlett & Bill Bauer Memorial GMIS MEETS Scholarship Program
KS GMIS is proud to support the professional development of our members through the Douglas Bartlett and Bill Bauer Memorial GMIS MEETS Scholarship Program.
If you are a current member of KS GMIS and in good standing with all dues paid, you are eligible to apply for this exciting opportunity.
How to Apply
To be considered, please email a few paragraphs explaining:
- Why would you like to attend the GMIS MEETS conference
- How the experience would benefit you and/or your organization
Submit your application to the Chapter President, Andrew Darrow. Submissions will be reviewed by the KS GMIS Board, and selected recipients will be contacted to coordinate registration and arrangements.
Scholarship Details
- Each scholarship winner may receive up to $1,700, which can be used toward conference registration, lodging, and travel expenses.
- Any expenses exceeding this amount will be the responsibility of the recipient.
- Questions about funding or reimbursements can be directed to the Chapter Treasurer, James Arnce.
Additional Scholarship Options
KS GMIS may also award up to two "Registration Only" scholarships for members in good standing who have not yet registered for the conference. Depending on available funding, the board may consider additional recipients—so we encourage all interested members to apply and be part of the selection pool.
